THE INITIATIVE
Founded in 2002, Society For Rational Development (SFORD) Jodhpur, is a Registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO) working for holistic Rural Development in the villages of Western Rajasthan, with concentrative efforts on imparting Quality Education to rural kids under the inspiring Leadership of Dr. Sunil Nahar.
The following objectives are formed after the several brainstorming sessions held with experts of various fields :

The objective chosen was much larger than the capacity of an individual social worker. So, on Dec 13th 2002, Society for Rational Development (SFORD) got registered under Rajasthan Society Registration Act 1958; Vide No. 247/Jodhpur/2002-03.

The SFORD Campus is located in the natural surroundings adjacent to Luni River on Sardar Samand Road; 25 Kms from the Jodhpur city nearby internationally famous village Khejarli.
The SFORD campus is spread over 3 Acres of land. The available Infrastructure is measuring 15,000 sqft. It consists of Class Rooms, Offices, Library, First-aid Dispensary, Computer Lab, Science Lab, Residential Units, Workshop, Cow-sheds and water tanks. Besides, Facilities like Pure Drinking Water, 24 hrs. Electricity, parking area and lavatories are provided. Moreover, 24 hrs. Internet Leased Line Connection with Wi-fi makes the campus a complete structure for IT Hub.
